Quickie Review: NARS One Night Stand Blush Palette

By Sparklingker @sparklingker

Hi everyone!! Wow, this is my third palette I’ve reviewed in a row.. on a roll!! This will be the last one for the next few weeks!! The NARS One Night Stand Blush Palette was released as part of the 2013 holiday collection and of course limited edition. The palette contains 6 powders: 4 blushes, 1 highlighter & 1 bronzer.

Just a bit of disclosure – I’ve been reading a few blogs around the controversy that surrounds this collaboration with Guy Bourdin. Some of Guy Bourdin works are said to be morbid and offensive to women. My review is purely based on makeup and I’m not supporting or condoning anything. So if you’re offended by my review, I’m sorry but the blush was too pretty to not review!!

NARS One Night Stand Blush Palette

Like all NARS powder products, the One Night Stand Blush Palette comes in a nice matte black rubbery packaging. It does get dirty quite quickly but nothing a quick wipe can’t fix.

The following shades are included in the palette (L-R starting from top row):

  • Devotee: Highlighter
  • Mistinguette: Bright pink
  • Orgasm: Peachy pink with golden shimmer, reviewed here
  • Laguna: Brown powder with a bit of golden shimmer
  • Deep Throat: Sheer peach
  • Goulue: Berry pink

What I like about the NARS One Night Stand Blush Palette:

  • 6 powders in one very sleek palette
  • Great quality
  • Awesome color payoff and finish
  • Easy to blend
  • Stays on for a good 8 hours
  • The large mirror is very handy
