"I have got to say that was one of the most moving, difficult experiences as a photo journalist," says Dallal. He has since given up journalism, went to law school and is now an attorney for the UN agency UNRWA, based in Jerusalem. "I am still traumatised," he says. "It's such an unpleasant image I don't like to look at it. It's grisly. It's a bad memory."

Hi Lakshmi,
the answer was completely India oriented however the topic did not mention India. It is about democracy in general.

Revolution is a form of protest which tries to bring a fundamental change in government structures in a very short period of time. Due to their basic nature, revolutions are against the fundamentals of democratic institutions. Revolutions have never led directly to democratic government. For ex. French revolution in 68th century led to spread of violence and eventually foundation of another autocratic regime under recent times movements in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen were the revolution for establishing democracies. Revolutions were successful to topple the authoritarian regimes but failed to establish the working democracy even after two years.

69: It is not easy to grasp how far Hitchens has gone. Again I quote from him on YouTube, debating with Reverend Al Sharpton: 8775 You see, I don 8767 t love our enemies, and I don 8767 t love people who do love them. I hate our enemies and think they should be killed And I 8767 m absolutely sure there should be no other country that has a budget that threatens ours, and I 8767 m not sentimental about it. 8776 And by 8775 our enemies 8776 and 8775 our budget 8776 he means the enemies and budget of US imperialism.

No one is ready to go an inch behind and nature is left to suffer or call it- nature is asked to punish us. Developing countries impressed upon the fact that they have started providing their subjects the taste of development recently. So why should their subjects suffer on part of development for the deeds of someone else? Appears okay! Developed countries feel its improper to overload them with self-mitigation plus assisting developing and under developed nations.

The comment above is from a typical pc fool. There is no mention of violence, which is what 8775 hate 8776 amounts to, on this post. The bulk of the prose is from others because I like including the thoughts of others and their information.

With several cameras slung around his neck, he walked the 65 minutes from his apartment to the World Trade Centre. He saw a smouldering piece of metal, part of a plane engine or the landing gear, he thought. There was the sound of breaking glass and debris in the air. "I got spooked and I thought, 8766 I don't think I should be here,' " he says.
