With the advent of social media in all its forms the potential for reaching thousands, if not millions, of people was introduced to individuals and businesses alike. When coal miners would carve their way through a mountain searching for the next new vein to mine, they would need spotters to help safely guide them. All sorts of noxious fumes waited to kill them, like carbon monoxide, methane and carbon dioxide.

Domestic canaries saved lives during those periods. The bird expired from the fumes before the miners did, giving an indication of whether a cavern was safe for humans.

Qnary also shows you recent posts made about yourself or your brand, providing a solid snapshot of what people think of you or your brand at any given point in time.

For Individuals

One of the chief challenges job seekers come up against is a lack of real estate in search. Simple concepts like owning your name as a domain, or generating quality content to build your status end up lost. Qnary looks at some topics you define and helps you cull information about those topics and how they fit into your persona. This helps not only to analyze your presence, it can help you find more ways to grow it.

You can also quickly review an image search for yourself and remove those photographs you’d rather not brag about.

Brands are extremely susceptible to negative reviews from anonymous users. Qnary aims to help improve a brand’s chances on the web by offering them more tools to find review data without a lot of legwork on their part. Qnary also looks at your brand’s marketing materials and reviews them for accuracy and consistency. Qnary offers a measure of engagement, which looks at how often your posts are discussed. Facebook’s business page may be a more reliable barometer, but every bit of data helps.
