I share this particular passage because it was something I needed to hear today. If I'm being honest, It's something I have to read every day. Perhaps you could relate? I spend so much time worrying about this and that. Will I have enough money for this? How am I going to pay that upcoming bill? This is totally unexpected. I don't handle the unexpected well.
If you know me, even a little, you know that I am a planner. I try and think of EVERY upcoming possible scenario that might come along my path. The unexpected is not allowed. Yet it seems to be happening at every turn. Looking back at last year, I don't know how I didn't have a nervous breakdown. If it weren't for Daniel and my trust and faith in God, I might have totally lost it.
God puts people in our lives for a reason.
I do believe that God put Daniel in my life for that reason. So hearing the words coming from Jesus in the Son of God DVD, made me shed a few tears, grab the remote to rewind the scene and to write the words down. This reminded me that instead of focusing on the burdens of things, focus instead on the joy and blessings of a situation.
Don't worry about daily needs God will provide. Put God first and everything else will follow.
