I don’t like spending days in the kitchen. But what I do like are simple, delicious recipes that can be easily thrown together.

Puppy Chow, or you may know it as the Muddy Buddy Recipe, is good stuff to have on hand and feeds a good-sized crowd! Pair this with Reindeer Mix and you’ve got enough to feed a few!

Another hand-written recipe I copied down before leaving home for the first time. I guess I wanted the essentials!

Ingredients

• 9 Cups Chex Cereal (I prefer Corn Chex)
• 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate
• 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
• 1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
• 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
• 1 11/2 Cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions

1. Melt Chocolate until Smooth. Stir in Peanut Butter, Butter, and Vanilla until smooth.
2. Add in Chex Cereal. Mix to combine.
3. Pour cereal into a plastic baggie.
4. Pour in Powdered Sugar.
5. Shake to coat.
6. Spread on Waxed Paper to set.
7. Store Covered.
