The chart above reflects the results of a new Axios / Momentive Poll -- done between January 1st and 3rd of a nationwide sample of 2,649 adults, with a 2 point margin of error.
This is a sad commentary on the condition of our country. About 57% (a very significant majority) of the public believes the insurrection that happened at our Capitol a year ago will be repeated in the next few years.
Too many Republican officials (and members of the GOP base) are denying the seriousness of what happened last January 6th. That denial means no lesson was really learned, and with no lesson learned, the violence against our government will be repeated.
History denied (or ignored) is history repeated!
