Another big crowd came out to Professor thom's on Tuesday, with many in for the All-Star Game (one of the only cheers went up for Adrian Gonzalez' home run). 21 teams took part.
We had some solid scores throughout the night. The two special categories produced some excellent scores. But for the first time in many months, we had a tie for first, between Mystery Science Jeter 3000 and Three Fingers of Bourbon and Lindsay Lohan. What a Night! both wound up with 47 points, so I pulled out a tie-breaker question: "How many countries are there currently in the continent of Africa?" MSJ3000 wound up winning, guessing the closest to the answer of 54.
Third Place went to Pray The Gay Away, Dr. Bachmann! with 44 points.
Best Team Name of the night went to: Derek Jeter's Hit Count Is Now Higher Than John Quinn's Sperm Count. (You might have guessed I was outvoted on this one. And you'd be right.)
