PS4 leads US console sales for the ninth month in a row
PS4 has outsold Xbox One in the US for nine consecutive months now, following earlier reports stating that the Xbox One finally outsold the PS4 in the US.
The NPD Group has released its September report, showing Sony once again in the lead in the US market.
The PS4 was the top-selling hardware yet again, and seems to have done well in software, too. According to Activision’s estimates, the PS4 is the most popular platform for Destiny, and Sony said it nabbed a larger market share with Madden NFL 15, NHL 15 and FIFA 15, too.
Nintendo has quote a good month, and released some sales figures. Super Smash Bros. 3DS sold 705,000 units in its first two days, of which 135,000 were eShop sales.
