PS Vita Tops Media Create Charts

Media Create has released it's full sales figures for the previous week, and the PS Vita managed to top the sales charts in Japan.
Mario Party: Island Tour outsold all with 132,668 units moved. PlayStation Vita was also the hardware king for the week with 35,374 units sold, up from 28,270 the prior week.
Samurai Warriors 4 debuted in second with 120,452 sold on PlayStation 3, and high profile release Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes came in at number three on PS3 with 119,615 units sold, barely missing a second place spot by 837 units. The game also moved an additional 91,903 units on PS4, bringing it’s total to 211,518 making it the second best-selling title for the week.

Hardware sales were up across the board for the period, with PS Vita moving 35,374 units, followed by PS4 with 30,201 units.  Sales of all hardware offerings totaled 136,893 units, compared to 119,059 units last week.
