Protomartyr Destroy a Phone Booth in Video for ‘Dope Cloud’ [Video]

Protomartyr’s new video for “Dope Cloud” is, well, anxiety-ridden and verging on terrifying. Like the song’s high-intensity, lashing instrumentals and unsympathetic vocals, the visual catalogues the strange and brutal attack of a scared kid against 3 masked assailants. Trapped in a phone booth, they do just about everything to try and break in, unleashing everything from brute force, to roman candles, to a fire extinguisher. The whole thing is a gut punch from beginning to end, much like the song, and worthy of a close watch.
