Promises Ltd, the brand-new electronic pop project from Miniature Tigers‘ Charlie Brand and Chrome Sparks‘ Jeremy Malvin, has released a highlight in the form of new track “American Eyes.” Featuring a delightful fusion of the two artists’ projects, with elements of the Tigers’ catchy vocal lines and the spot-on synth programming of Chrome Sparks, “American Eyes” takes its sweet time in unfolding into a dancefloor-ready half-ballad. “Who doesn’t dream of other people when they’re with you?” questions Brand plaintively, his concerns echoing over futuristic pop vibrations that recall an otherworldly, extra-planetary DJ set.
