Man made structures stick out of the panorama. It seems they could stand time for thousand years more. Like the two columns of the Phoenician ruins of Tharros … if only archeologist did not build them in the XXth century to obtain grants at support of the archeological site…
The fake columns (but original capital on one top) at Tharros, Sinis peninsula
The foundry furnace, Montevecchio mine, where the mining tools were forged.
Vintage petrol station from the Italian petrol agency Agip, Montevecchio
The Spanish gagliarda (armed with cannon) tower of San Giovanni, Sinis peninsula
The mine shaft Sartori in Montevecchio mine. This is the lift entrance to the mine
The Sullivan air compressor, from early XXth century, Montevecchio mine.
