I have to admit that I'm a bit of a procrastinator, but let's be honest, aren't we all? It seems to me that the more work I have, the less of it I want to do and with school getting really busy at the moment, you can guess what I'm not doing with my time - oopps! Here are some of my favorite ways to procrastinate.
1. Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest - I use all three of these sites a lot for inspiration and try and kid myself that I need to be on them to 'promote my blog'. In reality, they are really just the best time wasters around!
2. Pamper sessions - A regular Sunday night occurrence, I tend to try and do a face mask or something of the sort to help me relax. Sounds like a good plan, and it would be if it didn't mean a pile up of work afterwards!
3. Tidying and Organising - Possibly a slightly more useful form of procrastination, but I tend to tidy only what is already organised. My makeup and clothes draws are being shuffled around all the time for no need, but it's actually a good way of using more things and seeing what you actually have. It definitely puts me in a more positive frame of mind when everything around me is neat and clutter free though.
4. Lists - making lists of all the things that you have to do rather than actually getting on and doing them - yep, sounds like the sort of logic that runs through my brain. I have about a billion lists on the go at once and very rarely actually tick anything off them!
5. Other time wasters - Namely youtube, reading magazines, daydreaming and catching up with TV online. All could be done at a later date but seem most appealing when I have a million other things to do.
So those are some of my favorite ways to procrastinate, what are yours?
