New SoundChaser Release
Today we are proud to announce a new SoundChaser release on The Attenuation Circuit Netlabel. The Prime Chimes/Pieces/Patterns release is the first of two releases for the Mystified Remix Project by SoundChaser. The second edition will be released in March on CerebralAudio Netlabel.
The new release from SoundChaser was created for the Mystified Remix Project. It was created completely from samples taken from Mystified's
Various Home Made Rhythm Samples collection. All of the tracks were made by manipulation several of the samples and then creating patterns with them. The instruments SoundChaser chose to focus on were: Zen Chime, Trinagle, Maracas and Djembe.
The Deluxe edition (which will be released in March on CerebralAudio) will focus on re-contextualizing parts of the works from this release, creating a whole new set of patterns and textures that will change the listener's perspective on the overall work.

About Attenuation Circuit
Attenuation Circuit is a not-for-profit label releasing experimental music and other forms of sonic art in the form of CD-Rs, LPs, and downloads. They are interested in the various ways in which the use of found sounds, field recordings, improvisation, electronics, and unconventional sound sources continues to expand the traditional boundaries of "music".
Attenuation Circuit offers, among other things, a platform for new experimental artists from its immediate surroundings. Attenuation Circuit is dedicated to fostering exchange between the small, but thriving local experimental music scene in Augsburg and international experimental music artists.
While many Attenuation Circuit releases could be categorized as drone, electronica, electroacoustic improvisation, musique concrete, or noise, the definition of "experimental" may also include certain aspects of contemporary composition or unorthodox takes on pop idioms.
About CerebralAudio
CerebralAudio is a netlabel started as an imprint of The CerebralRift magazine. The label was launched in August, 2015 with two works by SoundChaser. CerebralAudio seeks to bring the finest musicians, writers, composers and artists together in producing recordings that stand out from the rest of the music that inundates our lives.
CerebralAudio releases recordings across all genres and styles: ambient, pop, electronic, spoken word, vocal, jazz, classical. All works are carefully selected and made available for free streaming and download. Tips and donations are accepted for artists and the label. All works are released under a Creative Commons license, check the release for the license that applies to the release.
