I was catching up on my blog reading on Friday night, and as soon as I saw these blazers on
Laura's blog belles boutique, I knew that at the next available opportunity these beauties would be mine.
So on Saturday morning I popped into Primark and got them both!
I spotted them immediately in the sea of pastels, but as I flicked through the hangers a feeling of disappointment rose up inside me....no size 10's....how could this be these were made for me, I double check all of the labels just in case they'd been put on the wrong hangers, but I just wasn't that lucky!!
I want to point out at this stage that I am not a size 8... haven't been since I was 20, but as desperation took hold I was willing to try, and thank God that I did (and thank God also for Primark's bizarre random sizing) they fit!!
They cost £15 each, and I think that's a complete bargain. They have a very crepe, unstructured feel to them, and they're band on trend for this summer with the pastel colours. I can already imagine pairing them with jeans, shorts, dresses and skirts. I can honestly say I've not been this excited about a find in ages. Thank you Laura.
