Local store in my Brooklyn neighborhood, Dear Fieldbinder has managed, yet again, to pull my attention towards their window by displaying a wacky pair of shoes. Remember the platform saddle shoes I blogged about? Yup, those wackadoo shoes were from this store a swell.
As for these little gems, called Kelsey by Jeffrey Campbell (same designer as the platform saddle shoes), I’m not exactly sure what you would call them. Boots, platform shoes, wedges, shooties (shoe-boots)…a little of each? And where are you going in them, what are you doing in them? They’re kinda weird and ugly yet they managed to draw me to the window so mission accomplished Dear Fieldbinder.
