I’ve always been adventurous when it comes to my hair. I had highlights done for the first time in 7th grade, the same year I had my first perm. I mean, those were all the rage back then! I had one in 7th grade and one in 8th grade and thought I was the bees knees. I look back now and wonder why no one told me I looked like a poodle. Just thankful for the natural waves/curls I have now.
Anyways, I digress. But I have always been up for trying different colors and styles when it comes to my hair. I’ve been blonde, brunette, auburn, and more, but have always wanted to dye my hair a super fun color. I had my hairdresser put a streak of pink in a couple of years ago and secretly wanted her to dye my whole hair that color. And while I’m not brave enough to do my entire head (yet), I felt like it was a good time to experiment a little more than one streak.
Enter Bigen Semi-Permanent Hair Color. Bigen Vivid Shades Semi-Permanent Hair Color comes in six amazingly fun shades and is super easy to do in the comfort of your own home. I was able to try out the Ruby Red but to be honest, it definitely looks more pink to me. Which is perfect, because that’s the color I was hoping to try anyways! I started slow with a few highlights and once I saw what it looked like, I added some more. Well then I saw it the next morning and decided I wanted it brighter… and more of it! So I added a little more again I can see how this would be addicting.. it’s so fun! Plus it only lasts for a couple of weeks, so it makes it easy to change it up without a huge commitment.
I probably could have used gloves but I didn’t have them, so I just used my hands. Most of it came off when I washed them right away but all of it came off in the shower by the time I rinsed. Bigen Vivid Shades Semi-Permanent Hair Color contains no ammonia and no peroxide so it’s conditioning, oil rich formula is gentle on your hair. I didn’t use bleach because my hair is hello, already bleached, but it’s recommended to use a hair lightener for best results.
The picture on the left is after the second application. The picture on the right was after the third application. I applied to more hair and saturated it!These pictures are from the first round of “highlights”. The next round I just put color on that entire chunk of hair, which was cool because then some pieces were darker than others. The third time I did it, I just added a lot more of the hair color and made sure it was very saturated.
Hair is just hair and I’ve always been a strong believer in that. It will grow back or you can always dye it back to the color you want it to be. Play, experiment, have fun! Bigen Vivid Shades Semi-Permanent Hair Color allows you to “Break From the Herd” with 6 bold and bright shades that let you show your wild side. Conditioning, oil-rich formulas with no ammonia and no peroxide are so gentle on your hair you can color with confidence.
Now it’s your turn! Which color will you choose?!
