Boiler was in Barnhill Wembley. The boiler cuts off at the fan and after many attempts goes to ignition lockout . The ignition failure red light starts glowing. When you reset the boiler the same sequence repeats..This is 24th December ..everyone need their heating & hotwater. Lets look at this in detail. Boiler fail to ignite, boiler does not spark, hummm, lets check PCB, FAN, Air pressure switch, Flue, rubber tubes, Cables to the fan and air pressure switch. The faulty parts were identified and the Boiler was repaired just before the Xmas evening….My last job before Xmas to be a Potterton ( Baxi, Main., Mega floor — they all the same).Thank you ,,, can go home on time now to have Xmas dinner with me family & in-laws! ……. …ooops.. be careful the road is icy… Remember last Xmas..bumping into the parked Jaguar..Not again ..!
