It’s not true! Really! It’s not!!! You can wear makeup to the pool and beach during the summer. The key is knowing which makeup items are suitable for a fun and fashionable day in the sun. Of course waterproof makeup items are ideal. But you definitely wants to load up on sunscreen as well — LAYER IT!
LAYER YOUR SUNSCREEN
You can add sunscreen to your favorite BB or CC cream. I really enjoy using Murad Essential C Moisturizer (SPF 30) all over my face. That mixed with a BB cream or even concealer will give you great protection from the sun. Don’t forget your lips. Check out lip balms or lip glosses with SPF. In today’s post, I’m wearing Milani Coral Crush lipgloss. I’m not sure if it has sunscreen it it. But — it’s pretty <wink!>

Pool & Beach Makeup Must Haves
You can’t go wrong with orange makeup hues during the summer in my opinion. Reach for
- a coral or orange based lipgloss,
- your favorite BB cream and
- and a little waterproof mascara.
That’s all you need! That isn’t being a pre-madonna. It will give you a nice inviting lip as well as protect you from those summer rays.
DON’T FORGET YOUR NAIL POLISH
As you can see here, I went to the pool this weekend and I did all of the above mentioned here :-). You didn’t think I preach but avoided practice. Never!! I sported some neon orange polish too! Pairing these vibrant orange hues on my nails, lips, and even sun shades made a huge difference in my opinion. My navy polka dot bikini makes such a fashionable statement alongside these zesty orangey hues.

- It is eye-catching.
- It is indeed suitable for pool and beach.
