The chart above is from the website fivethirtyeight.com. It shows the job approval average of all polls for Donald Trump. Note that his job approval is not improving. It currently rests at 37.3% approval and 57.1% disapproval -- a negative gap of 19.8 points. Unless this dramatically improves, he will have no coattails for the GOP to cling to in 2018 (and those who support him will probably be hurt in the election).
