Mayawati accused Modi of playing caste card for electoral gains by distorting Priyanka Gandhi's remark on 'neechee rajniti' into 'neechee jati'.

Actually Modi was reacting after Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attacked him saying that Modi had insulted her "martyred" father Rajiv Gandhi, former PM. “The Congress booth workers in Amethi would give a befitting reply to his ‘low-level politics’,” added Priyanka.
Also, Modi posts a few tweets in Hindi: “I have come from a low caste and that is the reason my opponents have accused me of playing low level politics."
