PoArtMo 2020: Kindu 3

Posted on the 10 June 2020 by Cendrinemedia @cendrinemedia

Today's Kindku is inspired by the chapter on self-knowledge in Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet.

After 12 years in Orphalese, the prophet Almustafa is about to board a ship that will carry him home. But first, he must answer questions from inhabitants of the city. Each chapter is dedicated to a specific topic, including love, marriage, children, freedom, laws, religion, and death.

I was 19 when my aunt gave me a copy of The Prophet. This book is my personal Bible. My life would not be the same without it...

On Being HumanSecrets are ready to speak after restlessnights;fingers mingle in half light towardsinfinitedepths of brand-new awareness; look, this is theself moving like dew on petals.@2020 Cendrine Marrouat

PoArtMo (Positive Art Month) is in session!

PoArtMo stands for two things: Positive Art Month and Positive Art Moves.

  • Positive Art Month is a month dedicated to positive art. Every June, artists around the world are invited to create and celebrate positive art for 30 days. It can be absolutely anything art related: photography, poetry, short stories, sculptures, drawings, theatre, etc.
  • Positive Art Moves celebrates positivity and inspiration in art all year long.

PoArtMo is open to hobbyist, amateur and professional artists. Artists interested in participating in PoArtMo can do so by heading to this link to find out more, along with submissions opportunities for a PoArtMo Contest and a PoArtMo Anthology too:
