Once December rolls around, I'm sifting through my oodles of party invitations (which is really like three) with one thing on my mind: Dresses! Glittery, feathery, ruffled, pleated, patterned, or in my case, the standard LBD, there's without a doubt a dress for everyone.
Some of my girlfriends have expressed that wearing a dress come winter (in Chicago) is just too fussy. Correction: It is the laziest possible thing you can wear. There's no mixing and matching, you are literally slipping on one garment. You're not even wearing bottoms for goodness sakes. Then for those over achievers, top with a necklace and earrings, and voila, you are dressed to impress in less than two minutes.
