Real gamers look for the gameplay, not the graphics. If you’re a follower of this motto, then you must be a fan of 8-bit games. Well then, this game was made exactly for you. The Game of Thrones: The 8-Bit Game basically transforms the brilliant story of the Game of Thrones into a classic 8-bit game. It was created by the Spanish comic artist Abel Alves.
It takes hell of time for the game to load. Seriously, you could go take lunch and a shower yet it will still be loading. Well, that’s something you would expect from an old-school game. And let me tell you, it’s worth the wait. I really had some fun running around waving the sword and unleashing Direwolves at enemies. I would play the game just to listen to that sweet 8-bitty GOT theme music and also to see some of the cool moments from the TV show recreated in the game. Apparently, you get to play as 4 different characters from the books/TV show. Just like Kotaku says, it’s probably the best GOT game so far. Without doubt, I’m gonna be wasting my weekend with this game.
