PJ Harvey Released ‘The Wheel’ from Her New Album [Stream]

It’s been over five years since PJ Harvey has released an album, and she’s finally giving us a taste of the magic that her ninth LP, The Hope Six Demolition Project, will contain. Polly Jean has graced us with a trailer and the album’s first single, “The Wheel”. The track almost sounds as if it could have been on 2011’s stunning Let England Shake, which, at least in my opinion, is a very promising start. Watch the trailer to hear another new track, the surprisingly peppy “The Community of Hope”, and to catch glimpses of PJ and her band recording in sessions open to the public as part of a London museum exhibition last year. The Hope Six Demolition Project will be out  April 15 on Island Records.
