Pizza East – Shoreditch

By Srazzi @srazzi

On Friday the intern from a company I work for was leaving so the bosses took us all out for lunch to say goodbye (thanks guys!!), I have been in Pizza East before but only for drinks on an evening so lunch time was a whole new experience.

Pizza east is located on the ground floor of the Tea Building, on the corner of Shoreditch High Street and Bethnal Green Road in East London. They boast that they are a modern take on the pizzeria which in fact they are, the ingredients are rustic and the food is fantastic.

The deco is one of the things that really makes this place and the open kitchen in the center of the restaurant adds to the character.

Most of us opted for a main and a side or a salad and a sharing board, which had the most amazing Burrata (fresh Italian cheese, made from mozzarella and cream). We toasted with a few bottles of wine before heading back to the office for a cupcake and to finish of the rest of the days work.

So if you’re looking for an amazing salad or pizza in East London, Pizza East might just be your place.
