Pizza Dough

Homemade yummy pizza dough

Ingredients:
6oz Strong Plain Flour
1 packet fast acting yeast (7g)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tspn Olive oil
125ml Hot hand water

Add the flour, yeast, salt and oil into a mixer and gently mix on a low speed using the dough hook ( or by hand). Gradualy add the warm water a little at a time until a dough forms. Kneed for 5 mins on medium speed.

Cover the dough and allow to rise in a warm place for 45mins to an hour ( until doubles in size).

Knock out the air in the dough, and give it quick kneed on a floured surface. Roll out some dough and place onto a baking stone.

You have a choice now, either top with tomato pizza sauce ( Tomoto Puree, water & italian herbs), cheese and topping on your choice and bake for 12-15mins at 220c and enjoy

or

Part bake the bases with no toppings for 5mins, until they form. Remove from the oven add tomato sauce and cheese and allow to cool. Wrap in foil and freeze for quick dinners on busy nights ( Which is what I did!)

You can freeze with toppings such as sweetcorn, olives, mushrooms etc.
