The Pirates reached an agreement today with infielder Jung Ho Kang. 4 year deal with a 2019 option.
Neal Huntington expressed that Kang will be a utility infielder with the Pirates this season. He can play 2B, SS, 3B. Anything beyond that is certainly possible but Huntington made it clear that existing infield earned their positions, so for now Kang will be a utility guy. A "Super Sub" much in the same way Josh Harrison was
On a side note... Kang will be wearing Sammy Khalifa's #27 .. oh and I guess we can say Teke's #27
