Remember my diary from last week, in which I tried on the pink matte lipstick from Chanel? It was Rouge Allure velvet in a fuchsia pink, and I had to have it. However, I don't put on lipstick everyday and my budget is pretty tight this month, so I went looking for a budget option. MAC has a comparable lipstick, called 'Girl around town'. But then me and a friend were at SPRMRKT in Amsterdam, and they had this Topshop lipstick, called Brighton Rock, which was exactly what I was looking for and quite a lot cheaper than Chanel and even MAC. It's just a very matte pink color that really pops, and the lipstick itself is very soft, almost feels like lip balm! I always feel very excited when I find something that looks 'Chanel' but is much cheaper and has the same effect! So that was my tip of the day. What do you think? Like it matte?
