With summer right around the corner I am lusting after a new wardrobe - yes, the gray "mrs Browns's Boys" cardigan has to go... for now haha!
Both of these outfits are from Pink Clove. In the first picture I am wearing a blue foral peplum top with a waist accentuating skinny belt and mesh sleeves.
What frustrates me most about peplum tops is definitely that they are usually too short and sit above my hip, but this one is actually a tad longer and hits just below the hip which is warmly welcomed by people like me who have a bit of a dislike for their 'love handles'.
I would wear this with either black skinny jeans, cigarette trousers or a midi skirt. It's really versatile and can be changed up easily to adapt to different occasions but this is definitely a summery print so wouldn't recommend wearing it in the winter time.
Moving on to the floral wrap top jumpsuit. This is made of jersey material and is quite clingy which is absolutely fine if you are body confident, but if you have days where you feel a little bit self conscious, this jumpsuit is unforgiving so I would maybe order a bigger size to make it a little looser on the bottom. Wear heels with it, and you'll feel like Ashley Graham (stunning plus size model!).
I personally love the fact that this wraps over at the top because it means you determine how much cleavage you want to show. It isn't over sized at the bust area either which is handy for me (I'm a D cup) and if you have a larger bust, I would say this will stretch to fit without going baggy or looking like it's been stretched.
The fact this has short sleeves is really handy for me, I don't really like the top of my arms but during the summer in particular, it's essential to have shorter sleeves.
The print, again, is really summery so this is a definite seasonal piece rather than an all year-round piece.
As always with Pink Clove, I love how well they cater to plus sizes without charging the earth so be sure to check them out if you're a curvy lass!
What are you looking forward to wearing this summer?
