On one of the hotest days days of the year, Helen couldn’t have chosen a better day to get Pete a convertible Ferrari for the morning! Pete spent the morning traveling around with a huge smile on his face! When I got to Helen, she was so calm and excited about the day. We even had some time to get some images around their beautiful home and grounds before heading to Heatherden Hall at Pinewood Studios for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony room was so warm but thankfully for Pete, his daughter / best man (girl) was on hand to fan him down.
After the reception drinks, everyone entered the main ballroom for the wedding breakfast and the gentlemen were advised due to the heat that they could not only remove their jackets but anything else they wanted as well! The speeches were great with Petes daughter delivering the whole thing in rhyme! Helen and Pete have 2 fantastic Harley Davidson motorbikes. About a year ago when I heard about this, I had planned a sunset shot with them. I think the juxtaposed image of a bride on a Harley works really well. Instead of a traditional first dance, the evening started with the ceilidh band getting everyone on the dance floor. There wasn’t a quiet period for the rest of the evening!
