DailyMail: She’s 67 years old, and has a career under  her belt that has spanned more than four decades. But Cher proved she really can Turn Back Time as she rolled back the years in a positively stunning cover shoot for her brand-new album, Closer To The Truth.

Looking every inch the platinum blonde bombshell, the legendary singer sprawled out seductively on a fur rug, while  wearing a sexy silk negligée. With one strap falling teasingly off her  shoulder, the Believe hitmaker showed off the kind of flawless skin that most women in their sixth decade could only dream of.

Revealing the racy new cover via her Twitter page on Sunday, the 67-year-old singer said: ‘Playboy Center-fold effects.’

Appearing virtually ageless as she draped  herself dramatically across a bed, Cher was showcasing a head of platinum blonde cascading curls as she positively smouldered into the camera.

It’s evident the star was keen to come back  with a bang with her 26th studio album following a 12-year hiatus from the music  industry, with the record being her first since 2001′s Living  Proof.

Closer To The Truth features 11 tracks on its  standard version, and 17 on the deluxe edition, including collaborations with Timbaland and Pink, and new track Woman’s World. However, a duet with Lady Gaga was canned  from the album. She previously said of working with Gaga: ‘I  think this is probably the best album I’ve ever done. I think it’s brilliant and  I thought her performance was great but she doesn’t like it.’

But Cher admitted the success of her worldwide smash hit record Believe back in 1998 has made her doubt her latest  work. She explained: ‘The studio was playing Believe and it  made me nervous. It really does have good  songs on it  and all of a sudden I got so nervous.’

Closer to the Truth…

Let’s face it, Photoshop can make anyone appear virtually ageless. It’s the “Playboy” effect.
