first hard frost
Haven't used my macro lens in so long I'm losing my touch. Then again, having drunk two cups of coffee before I headed outside to capture the frost sure didn't help matters. Even after I dragged out the tripod I still had to press the shutter button. I was shaking so hard I knocked the dratted thing all over the place. And yes, before you ask, I do have a remote I could have used instead of relying on my crack-addict hands. Maybe next time I won't be so lazy.
At least I recorded, for all posterity, the first hard frost of 2012 on the day before Election Day 2012. The factoid's now at your fingertips, should you ever need it.
