The way PhotoMath works is simple. You simple take a photo of the equation with your phone. Then the app will scan the equation to show you the solution, along with the steps involved. Microblink, the company behind the app, claims it to be “the world’s first camera calculator.” Surely, this is delightful news for all the easy learners out there. However, I highly doubt this app to be a proper way to learn math.
PhotoMath is now available on iOS and Windows Phone. Android version will be available in early 2015.
