Esben and the Witch are a three piece "gothic pop" band from Brighton who formed in 2008. Consisting of Rachel Davies (vocals, bass, percussion), Thomas Fisher (guitar), and Daniel Copeman (drums, electronics - formerly guitar), their name comes from a Danish fairytale. Their second LP 'Wash the Sins Not Only the Face' is out now on Matador Records.
