As a kid, I used to make sure that my family's plastic soda can rings were snipped in case they somehow wound up around a dolphin's nose but now recycling has gone fashion thanks to Pharrell Williams' passion for finding a solution to plastic waste polluting our oceans. Let me explain. The Happy singer has teamed up with Danish label, G-Star Raw, to create an innovative collection made from recycled ocean plastic. Yes, you read that right. The super soft sweatshirt I'm wearing was once trash that's been scooped out of the waves and wrapped in soft cotton to create a bionic yarn for clothes and denim.
