Swiss/Canadian indie art rock duo Peter Kernel have a soft spot for shifting time signatures and dissonants. Aris Bassetti and Barbara Lehnhoff are dancing to their own beat on their full-length Thrill Addict, mixing Deerhoof with The Cure and Sonic Youth, locking into off-kilter grooves and sticking to them, like trying to push a square peg into a round hole.
