I have just been feeling down in the dumps and not feeling well and we just moved to a new apartment and I still feel a little overwhelmed about things. My children are growing up and they are not the same little kids, now my oldest daughter wants to go her separate way and it makes me feel like a failure. She's almost 18 years old and next year she graduates from high school.Am I having a mid life crisis or something? Sometimes I don't feel like myself or maybe it's because I'm getting older and I'm more in my feelings. I feel so stressed most of the time when problems arise but I try to hold things together.
I went to bible study yesterday and I must say it made me feel so much better, my husband and two of my younger children went. They both read poems aloud and one that struck me most is a poem my son read called" You Mustn't Quit" It hit home just for me because I tend to want to give up when things don't go right in my life.You Mustn't Quit By Edgar A. When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,

What a great poem it tells you no matter what struggles hit you in life to not give up. I learned in bible study that your blessing is right around the corner, it may seem so far away and if you give up to fast you will miss out on that blessing. Life can really get you down sometimes but you must remain strong even if the bills are heavily coming in, if you are sick, or whatever is going on in your life. I will keep on keeping on until I get a breakthrough.
