Perfect On-the-go Immune Booster/sickness Kicker

By Lindsayleighbentley @lindsayLbentley

Holy craziness you guys.

We have had more major life events in the past 10 days than in the past year combined.  They are all good things, and I can share two of them:

1. our sweet Etta was born…she is precious.  So, so easy, and just the sweetest little girl.  Her brothers adore her and she has settled into our family just perfectly.

2. Hank started a new job.  Same vocation, just a new artist, so that always means a bit of craziness getting ready for a new job.

3. this one is still a secret and I can’t wait to share it with you soon!!

Anyhow, I wanted to quickly share a great little remedy that Hank uses regularly on the road.  Getting good foods like kombucha, fermented veggies, bone broth or Terrible Tonic; much less anything organic is nearly impossible when you are on a tour bus or airport.  Plus, his diet is often determined by someone other than himself. And I’m sure he’s not the only man out there who has a hard time remembering to take vitamins!

So, he really needed a way to knock out illness and boost him immune system while traveling.

Which is why we LOVE Oil of Oregano.

He takes it almost daily on the road and doubles or triples his intake if he ever is beginning to feel run down.

He hasn’t been sick in over two years using this stuff!

I know a lot of you out there travel a good bit or have spouse who does, and this would be an absolute must-have for busy folks because it’s SO easy to carry and SO effective!  I’ve linked HERE and above in the picture to the one we use from Amazon (also available at Vitacost), and the bonus is that it’s small enough to carry in your purse or bag going through airport security.

My number one recommendation when you ever start to feel sick is to attack it immediately, before it becomes full-blown.  The same would apply with this stuff.

It’s not safe to use while pregnant, which is why I rely solely on my tonic during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. It’s amazing as well and has effectively kept me well through 2 pregnancies (even during the cold/flu seasons).  No flu shots here!!

Oil of Oregano tastes terrible, but Hank has said that it’s so effective, he really doensn’t mind.  Better than getting sick for sure, right?!
