Perfect Clean from LG EasyClean

LG's EasyClean enamel technology provides two cleaning options for the inside of the range; model number LDG4315 / LDG4313. The LG EasyClean cycle is used for light splatter, small drops, or spots, cheese or other ingredients and fat/grease. For heavier clean up, I use the Self Clean cycle.

How It Works

First, I allow the oven to cool to room temperature. Then remove the oven racks and any other accessories in the oven. After that, with a plastic scraper or a hard plastic spatula I remove larger pieces.

When that is done, I spray the entire cavity with distilled water. I make sure that I completely saturate the soil on the walls and corners. Once that is done, I pour 1 cup of water in the center of the bottom, where the indentation is to make sure all soils are covered.

Now I'm ready to close the oven door, touch EasyClean and touch Start. The upper oven cycle lasts 15 minutes, while the lower oven cycle is only 10 minutes. When the respective cycles end, a tone lets me know the EasyClean is complete. I touch Clear/Off to clear the display and end the tone. At this point, all I need to do is wipe out the oven cavities with a clean, dry towel and replace the oven racks.

LG EasyClean allows me to clean the oven of lighter soils without chemical smells or smoke, which sometimes occurs when I use the Self Clean function. The best part is that I'm finished within 15 or 20 minutes and the system works very well.

Plus, I can use it as needed, so I'm not waiting for more messes just to run the Self Clean cycle. It is especially great for winter time cleaning when it's too cold to open the windows during a Self Clean cycle.

Other brands may offer something similar, but I know first-hand that the LG EasyClean function IS easy and it really works. If anyone is looking for a new range, ask your sales person about LG and it's EasyClean feature. You won't be sorry.
