At first I resisted the peplum trend, but after I saw this Tory Burch sweater, I think I am officially a convert. However, there is definitely a formula when it comes to looking great in peplum. What is peplum? It is a vintage style cut that emphasizes and creates a slightly over exaggerated waistline. Don’t be afraid of it. It actually works to trim your waist because the clean lines draw your eye toward the thinnest part of your body and makes it look even thinner by flowing out at the waist. It is just lovely. Be sure to wear a slim-fitting bottom with your peplum top. It only makes sense. Balance your look.
