Don't even know where to begin, but once again, because of the lack of changes over the course of last year, I don't think this team has what it takes to make it far in the playoffs. The same cracks that we've seen over the last few years are happening again. Lackluster D, sporadic scoring stretches, lackluster performances from their supposedly superstars, Fleury not putting together solid stretches.
Ahh, for a team that has such great superstars on paper, they don't play like it. Unfortunately, I think there needs to be some sort of shakeup. Something isn't working, and it's becoming evident. To be 11-7, and start losing to bottom dwellers, and to also lose 1-0 to teams like Colorado and St Louis that do have very good defenses, is proving to me that once again, come playoff time, they will be ousted quickly when they are matched against a team that has a good defense.
Time for a serious overhaul.. and I think it starts with Dan Bylsma, with Shero on the hot seat. No way should this team fold like this year after year. We should all expect better.
