Patterned Paper Covered Notepads

By Vixenmade @vixenMade
Whether you use your notepads to jot your grocery lists or, like me, you wanted some coordinating notepads for a birthday coming up.  Here's an easy way to pretty up those bland notepads.

Simply pick out some scrapbook papers of your choice.  I chose the sturdier cardstock weight paper. Then get some notepads.  I found these dog covered ones in a 4 pack for a dollar.

Bend the ends of the coil out and uncoil it from your notepad.

Using the existing cover, trace it on your patterned paper, including the holes for the coils.

Cut out your paper.  I used my cutter for the straight edges.

And a small hole punch for the coils.

Stack the paper over your notepad with the holes lining up. Carefully recoil your coil onto the notepad.

Bend the ends in again and you're set! Come on.  So much more fun than the dogs.  In my opinion. And for me, perfect for the party.
