Parnevu Leave In Conditioner is a conditioner for extra dry and brittle hair. I’ve been using the leave in almost daily for 2 months. Here’s an overview of my results.

My hair requires lots of moisture because of it’s texture. I also suffer from occasional breakage. So I’m always on the lookout for products that will add moisture as well as strengthen my hair. I began using Parnevu leave in conditioner about 2 months now and I still have a ton of product remaining. It’s a 16oz tub and retails for around $5.

I would use this product in place of gel to smooth my edges or to create sleek, tamed looks. My hair is natural – no straighteners or texturizers – so it takes a little more effort to tame my hair. This product is great replacement for gels which can be harsh to your hair. Gels tend to be drying and can make our hair hard or cause flaking.

I can’t say the product has improved the condition of my hair during the last 2 months; but it has provided me with a better alternative to using gels. Let’s say the hairstyle I’m wearing requires me to use gel because I’m going for that ultra-sleek look. I’d use Parnevu leave in conditioner first and place gel over the product using a layering method. I feel like Parnevu leave in conditioner creates a barrier between my hair and the gel.

The product is a creamy, semi-whipped consistency. It blends easily into your hair and doesn’t cake up like other edge-controlling products on the market. It’s not heavy at all. You can use it daily without worrying about washing your hair in between uses. There are no heavy scents either; just a faint scent of pineapples.

The pricing is favorable when you think of the amount of product you’re receiving. After 2 months, I’ve only used a quarter of the tub. You only need a little to get the job done. Of course the amount you use has to do with the amount of hair you have, the length, the texture and the type of styles you’re doing.

Parnevu leave in conditioner isn’t readily available everywhere so check your local beauty supply stores first. I was unable to find it at my local Walgreens and CVS. You can also grab it from Amazon.

In summary, I won’t say Parnevu leave in conditioner is the answer to your hair problems. I will say its nice to have in your hair care stash when you need an alternative to gels and heavy/oily hair products. It will help you move towards less damaging products for styling your hair by reducing the amount of harsh chemicals and ingredients you may be applying daily.
