Paperscape - A Map Of Scientific Research
Cornell University's arXiv.org provides open access to 871,788 e-prints in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Biology, Quantitative Finance and Statistics.
Paperscape is a tool to visualise the arXiv. Each paper in the map is represented by a circle, with the area of the circle proportional to the number of citations that paper has. As you zoom in on the map labels will start to appear on individual papers. Zooming in closer also shows the author(s) of the paper.
