Papeete Open Air

Do you know the Tahitian tale of the sleeping beauty, who got her heart stolen by Maui? Probably yes, if you watched the movie Moana (also distributed as Oceania).

Here she is, painted on Papeete walls. You can also find her on Huahine island: she sleeps again, after her heart was given back.
