Papa Make a Shirt and Blue Jeans Fall in Love [stream]

LA-based PAPA have come out with a video for their second single, “Young Rut”, off their upcoming debut Tender Madness, due out Oct. 8th.  Since featuring the song a few weeks ago, I’ve been constantly jamming to its catchy, offbeat drums and Darren Weiss’s sweetly deep, sentimental vocals. Even with this infatuation, though, the music video takes the track to a whole new level. Taking place in a Laundromat, the video starts with the bandmates doing their laundry, then quickly shifts focus to an animate shirt and blue jeans who fall in love as the band jams away downstairs. After the initial shock of seeing animate clothing, things get even weirder and a lot more intriguing. I won’t give away the end of this love story, but I will say one thing: I’ve never felt so emotional about blue jeans and a shirt.
