Pan-fried Zucchini

Pan fried zucchiniIngredients:

4 large zucchini,
Butter for frying,
Salt and pepper to season.


Wash and pat dry the zucchini, leaving the skin on, cut the ends and cut 1/2cm slices crosswise. Heat 4 table spoons of butter in a frying pan, add the zucchini and fry for a couple of minutes on each side. Add more butter if needed.

Remove fried zucchini from frying pan and place on a paper towel to let the excess oil drain. Season with salt and fresh pepper once transferred to the serving dish.

In order to avoid having a soggy result, pan-fry the slices in a single layer, very quickly.

For 4 persons.

Difficulty: Easy.
Preparation time: 10 minutes.
Cooking time: 20 minutes.
