Page Turner IPA – Situation Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From the newest brewery in Edmonton Alberta Situation Brewing comes their "Page Turner IPA" their self proclaimed flagship beer. The beer pours a copper colour with an off white head. The aroma consists of citrus rind, resin, floral hops and caramel. The flavour is of citrus, tropical fruits, citrus rind, caramel, resin, pine and hops bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 6.5% with an IBU of 80. I am a big fan of IPA's as it is well known and although I did not find this super bitter I did find it super tasty.

Commercial Description: Our flagship beer - born to standout of the croud. We showcased Mosaic and Citra and stood it toe-to-tow with a balancing malt backbone. An aroma of sticky citrus rind, evergreen and tropical fruit serve as a tribute to the style.
