So you know how the other day I said that my resolution was to wear more things that I admire on others (within reason)? Well this hat is seriously one of them. I snagged it up at the Gap post christmas sale while with two friends, 1 who was seriously against it the other more supportive. As you can see I took the support, and hell it was $10! So when the day consisted of taking my little brother to rent a tux for his first cotillion (I went to mine 6 years ago..wow!) and picking up a birthday present [insert light rain] it seemed like the perfect time to try it out. I love the subtle wave in the brim, the perfect mixture between fedora and floppy beach hat. I know hers is a little different but I for someone reason had Taylor Davies in my head as I put this outfit together. It works perfectly with this androgynous outfit, loose boyfriend jeans, even looser shirt and a pair of booties. I like it most with colors fromt the same family (neutrals, blacks, beiges, jeans.) but am curious to see how it would pair with a color....until next time hat.
p.s I hope you're not sick of this shirt yet, because you can clearly tell I am not. And guess what? It was a roomie hand-me-down...LB you have done me well.
